We were delighted to host a senior delegation from Copenhagen Business School (CBS) at TUM School of Management. Led by University Director Arnold Boon, the group—Kristian Dyhr, Mette Kuhlen Gullach, Jane Finnerup Johnsen, Annika Dilling, Anne Weait Suhr, Niels Jespersen, Bitta Nielsen, David Gullberg, René Steffensen, Jakob Ravn, Ash Wallington and Jacob U. Sachse—engaged in insightful discussions on the future of business education and strategic development.
As our Dean, Prof. Gunther Friedl, emphasized, TUM’s unique strength lies in merging technology with management, with a strong focus on entrepreneurship, driving the growth of Munich’s dynamic ecosystem.
From entrepreneurship research with Anne Tryba to insights on lifelong learning and leadership from Silke Klenk and Barbara Tasch, our guests saw firsthand how TUM integrates these fields to develop tomorrow’s STEM leaders.
To cap off the day, our visitors experienced a classic Munich tradition with a visit to Oktoberfest!
Special thanks to Christina Green, Claudia Ferringo, Katinka Kleinheinz, and Sabrina Huber for their insightful contributions, each offering valuable perspectives from their respective departments, and to Ute Helfers for organizing this inspiring visit.
We look forward to continued collaboration with CBS!
