Professor Menapace’s research focuses on the functioning and governance of agro-food value chains. Her research addresses issues related to asymmetric information, transparency, fairness and sustainability in agro-food value chains. Exploiting insights from experimental and behavioural economics, her research aims at identifying pathways and mechanisms to foster a transition toward more sustainable agro-food value chains and healthier and more nutritious agro-food products.
Professor Menapace holds a Laurea degree in Agricultural Sciences (University of Padua, Italy), a Master degree in Agribusiness (Sacred Heart Catholic University, Italy), and a Ph.D. in Economics (Iowa State University, USA).
