Grigoriy Zavorotniy is Senior Investment Manager at rEnergy Partners. He has over 15 years of principal investment, operating and investment banking experience across energy, natural resources and technology sectors. Grigoriy has also spent a big part of his career in emerging and frontier markets and was a Director at a family office with a portfolio of assets in Africa. In 2017, he co-founded RoundPier, a networking and career development platform for students. In 2021, he joined BayWa r.e. Energy Ventures as Investment Director and took over the position of Managing Director in 2022. Under his leadership, the unit was transformed into rEnergy Partners in 2025. rEnergy Partners is a climate impact investor, focusing on scalable business models in the areas of digital energy solutions, storage and e-mobility.
