If your application fulfills all the formal requirements evaluated by the TUM Center for Study and Teaching (TUM CST) – Admissions and Enrollment Office , it will be submitted to the Admission Team. We follow a two-stage assessment procedure to be able to select the best possible candidates for the Bachelor in Management and Technology.
Stage 1*:
Applicants with a German Abitur:
When reviewing your application we will take both your final Abitur grade into account, as well as your three individual half-year grades (“Halbjahresnoten”) in German or English, Mathematics, and in any Advanced Natural Science subject (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Informatics or Technology). If we cannot assess your individual grades in the above-mentioned subjects, we will base our assessment on the available grades with an adjusted factor.
Additionally, all applicants (with a German Abitur or an international university entrance qualification) could gain up to 4 points for evidence of specific extracurricular qualifications or additional qualifications relevant to the study program.
The result of stage 1 leads to a direct admission, an admission interview (stage 2) or a rejection.
