100 points in the category INUSTRY go to Technical University of Munich!
The renowned British magazine Times Higher Education (THE) published its annual University Ranking, and we are excited to see that TUM ranks
👉 No. 1 in Germany, 👉 No. 1 in the EU, and among the 👉 TOP 26 universities worldwide.
The cooperation between academia and industry is one of the main objectives at TUM School of Management. We constantly work on establishing new relations with industry partners and implement industry experience in our research and teaching.
Our students benefit greatly from this knowledge transfer and connection to the industry. At the same time, we provide relevant research and innovation to the industry.
The THE rankings consider a variety of factors. On one hand, academics from around the world are surveyed about the reputation of universities in research and teaching.
On the other hand, metrics such as the number of publications per researcher, citations per publication, the student-to-faculty ratio, industry funding, the number of patents, and the level of internationalization are evaluated.
