Monika Mengting Liu is PhD Fellow at Goldman Sachs in London and doctoral candidate at the Chair of Strategic Management at the TUM School of Management (Technical University of Munich, Campus Heilbronn). Her research explores the role of the political environment in international acquisition outcomes, with a focus on the automotive sector.

 

She has worked as research associate at the TUM School of Management, project leader on consulting projects, as strategy analyst for Mercedes-Benz AG, and as consultant for Mercedes-Benz Management Consulting in Stuttgart. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and obtained a Master of Arts in Business Communication, Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena and a Bachelor of Arts in German Studies and Economics from Wuhan University, during which she spent an exchange semester at the University of Stuttgart. She also worked as an intern and working student at Porsche AG and Accenture.
